Kia Mitchell, M.D.

Dr. Kia Mitchell is a skilled, double board-certified medical physician. After graduating from Spelman College in Atlanta, GA with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology pre-med, she moved on to the University of Miami, School of Medicine where she received her medical doctorate in 2002. She returned to her lifelong home of Jacksonville, FL to complete her residency in family medicine at St. Vincent's Medical Center. She spent ten years as an attending physician in the ER at Memorial Hospital. During this same time, Dr. Mitchell became the medical director for Kids and Families Medical Center. In 2020, she founded Families First Medical Group where she offers comprehensive care to men, women, children, and the elderly. Shortly after, she opened Limitless Me Wellness, a full-service aesthetic spa. In 2021, she earned her board certification in obesity medicine. In her spare time, Dr. Mitchell, her husband, and four children enjoy sporting events, music concerts, and traveling together.

Dr. Kia Mitchell specializes in family medicine. She has vast experience treating men, women, and children in all aspects of life, which she does at Families First Medical Group. Here, she is passionate about providing disability determination and care for United States veterans and is also an authorized civil surgeon and performs immigration medical examinations. At Limitless Me Wellness, she aspires to provide men and women individualized care to meet them where they're at in life's journey so they can live life to the fullest.
